Greg is an award-winning attorney, writer, and public speaker with nearly two decades of experience working in the private and public sector.

In the public sector, he has served as strategic advisor to some of the nation's leading elected officials at the local, state, and federal level. In the private sector, he has counseled several of the world's largest global technology companies on several complex, cutting-edge legal and public policy matters. While studying Economics at Morehouse College, Gregory learned about the work of Marian Wright Edelman and her efforts to establish the Children's Defense Fund.  He was particularly inspired by two of her more popular sayings. Namely, that “service is the rent we pay for living” and “if you don’t like the way the world is, you should change it”.

After finishing college, Gregory would go on to attend Washington University School of Law and Harvard University before pursuing his own professional career.  While finding early success, it wouldn't be long before he was reminded of Ms. Edelman’s call to “service” and motivated by a strong desire to start an organization that could have a lasting impact on society. 

After consulting with several well-respected advisors and close friends within the tech community, he decided it was time to launch the Benjamin Martin Foundation. He's extremely grateful for all the advice and support he has received from those who have decided to join him on this journey.‍
